Kristen Anne Photography: Caitlin + Roger {Minneapolis Wedding Photography}

What a perfect way to start the new year! I was itching to get back into photography weddings after a short, but wonderful winter break and I knew this wedding would be just perfect! Caitlin and Roger are simply wonderful people. They are family friends of mine and I have LOVED getting to know these two! When we began their engagement photos last summer, they let me know that they were more shy about taking photos and needed some direction. I honestly love hearing that! They were so great and we created some beautiful photos of their engagement. When it came to their wedding day, it didn't matter at all if they were shy of photos! What I love about these two and really about being a wedding photographer, is that it's not about the photos! They were so consumed in their day. All of the planning, all of the details came down to one special day. It was so obvious that this was the only reason why they came to the beautiful decorated church that snowy morning.. to marry their best friend!

These two have incredible friends and family surrounding them that were overjoyed to share this day with them. They came to celebrate two great people getting married and came to witness this start of a beautiful life together! And the sunshine and perfectly white snow didn't hurt! It was a GORGEOUS day, I was in wedding heaven and these two created a perfect day to tie the knot!

(Side note: The Commons Hotel was an amazing venue! This is a newly renovated hotel on the U of M campus and I could have spent all morning photographing this gorgeous space!)
