Natalie + Chris {Minneapolis Wedding}

When Natalie and Chris strolled in together, welcoming me and commenting on the beautiful weather and the time their dog would arrive, I knew this day would be special.  Different, and extremely special.  Natalie, in her short dress, holding flowers that didn't look quite right and Chris already feeling the heat.. couldn't wait to get this day started.  They weren't all about the hype, about the details that make every wedding so unique.  They just wanted their close friends and family, their beloved dog and they wanted to get married!  As I've met these two and gotten to know them, I can get a glimpse that this day was exactly how they planned it.  As Natalie's mom put it, "she would have been fine with a barbeque in the backyard.  This is as close to that, but classing it up a bit."

As a photographer, I always aim to capture the mood, the feeling of the day.  For this wedding, it all fit so perfectly for these two.  It was relaxed, comfortable and a huge celebration.  They were both so grateful that everyone came to celebrate with them, and it was obvious the guests were just as thrilled.  The perfect sunset, their dog as the ring bearer, the trio of musicians singing the night away, the lawn games and the rings presented in their boat key.. and a two best friends happily married.  Perfect!
