Jade & Nate {married}

I have the greatest job in the whole world, I really do!!  I have been so lucky this summer to shoot so many weddings for friends of mine!  Jade was a "hall-mate" of mine back in the college days at Northwestern.  This wedding was quite the event, let me tell you.  After so much preparing, so much planning.. the day went by flawless! Jade kept telling me that she wanted tons of candid shots to really capture the love between her and Nate.  Holy cow Jade, that was super easy!  Not only was this wedding a fairy tale dream for Jade that she has been planning probably since she could wear a dress.. but the love between her and Nate was so obvious!  They were both so giddy, they're so madly in love!

I was so lucky to be a spectator during this great event.  The music was incredible, the pastor was perfect (Jade's dad!)... there were tears, tons of laughter, great speeches, and all the PINK details were absolutely.. perfect!  You did it Jade!  Congrats to the newly married couple!

Katie & Brian {married}

I had the great honor of photographing an old kinda-friend in Des Moines last weekend!  I knew Katie in high school.. she graduated a year before me and her sister Megan (maid of honor) was in my class.  It's always so fun to go back to Des Moines.. I made a weekend of it and had a great time seeing old friends and photographing this awesome wedding!   Katie and Brian are those people that other photographers dream of working with (I mean it!)  They were both so laid back, let me take the reins and they really just enjoying the day.  It was a perfectly sunny day and the wedding/reception was all held in downtown Des Moines.. a great historical place, with tons of little picturesque nooks and beautiful views.  We had such a blast late into the night and for reason.. she kept apologizing for her wedding party?! :)

triple the baby bumps!

I had the wonderful privilege of photographing some sweet friends of mine.. who are so adorable and so pregnant!  I know the girls from church and it just so happens they are all pregnant at the same time and due very close together!  This is Tiffany's 4th child (nice work!) and Jenna and Tara's 1st.  I had so much fun with these three.. take a look!
