Harper {baby}

Oh, I was so excited for this photo shoot!  Tristan and Mitch are practically friends of mine... I've photographed their cute faces so many times, I was beyond thrilled to finally meet their sweet little girl!  I felt like I already knew miss Harper.. she is one day older than my little Finn.. and I wouldn't mind at all if they got married, look how cute she is!!   As you can see, she was quite a dream to photograph.. and the Walker didn't disappoint once again, we may have even snuck in balloons and a cupcake under the radar.

Stock {family}

I say this every day, but I seriously love my job.  On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, I got to spend time with this great family!  They are so nice, so fun, so relaxed and not too bad looking either!  :)  I love families like this.. you can tell that they are not only a close family but great friends.  The two kids even loved being together!  (I think that's kinda rare..) :)

Woodbury was the perfect backdrop for this afternoon photo shoot.. thanks again Stock family for letting me capture these moments!

Brooklyn {baby}

Look at this sweet girl! She is just adorable and has the cutest faces.. :)  We had so much fun at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.. perfect place for these cold winter days.  I had the great privilege of photographing Stacey and Steven for their wedding and now got to meet their baby girl!

Amelia + Andrew {love}

One of the greatest joys of my job is the variety.  Even though I would consider myself a wedding photographer, or a lifestyle photographer.. I would say my job description is simply to capture the love, the joy, the life among different people.  Which is why, when I got an email from Amelia about this photo shoot, I was beyond thrilled.  Amelia and Andrew have a bit of a different situation.  At the age of 16, Andrew was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.  Now at age 25, and after being cancer free for 6 years, it has come back.  Amelia and Andrew had their life ahead of them.. they did what all couples in love do and plan for the future. But now they are taking it one day, one treatment, one appointment at a time.  Andrew is at Hope Lodge in Minneapolis and endures daily treatments for this leukemia.  Even though now long distance, Amelia hasn't gone anywhere.  They are madly in love with each other and I had the huge privilege of witnessing this love!  They are two of the sweetest, most relaxed and most fun people I have met.  They have overcome more than most people their age ever have to face and they seem stronger because of it.

Here's to a long lifetime of love between you two.. many more football games and many more dances.

Haire {Family}

I LOVE huge family photo shoots because now that I have a big extended family that lives all over the place, I know how rare and how wonderful it is to have everyone together!  And I also love this family!  I have had the privilege of photographing a few of these great people before (little baby Ezra is probably one of my favorite babies ever..) so this was a huge honor!

The backdrop was perfect, the weather couldn't have been better and everyone in this family was so great!  Enjoy the preview!
